In the design process, I immersed myself in 1950s couture fashion, looking at Dior and Charles James. The 50s had a very distinct silhouette, a very feminine look of a napped in waist, rounded hips and conical bust shape.

Margot's look shows her sophistication and high-class power but also represents her criminal behaviour with a dark coloured suit and black leather gloves. 

Nina's look shows her elegance and need for attention, always wearing the most extravagant gown at the parties.
